How to install welded gabion mesh box?
Step 1: Begin by placing the ends, diaphragms, front, and back panels in an upright position on the bottom section of the wire mesh.
Step 2: Secure the panels by screwing spiral binders through the mesh openings in adjacent panels.
Step 3: Position stiffeners across the corners, approximately 300mm from each corner, to provide diagonal bracing. Crimp them over the line and cross wires on the front and side faces. Interior cells do not require stiffeners.
Step 4: Fill the gabion box with graded stone either manually or using a shovel.
Step 5: Once filled, close the lid and secure it with spiral binders at the diaphragms, ends, front, and back.
Step 6: When stacking tiers of the welded gabion mesh, utilize the lid of the lower tier as the base for the upper tier. Secure them with spiral binders and add pre-formed stiffeners to exterior cells before filling them with graded stones.
