Galvanised welded wire tree protection guards are the best solution to protect trees from browsing and grazing animals including small deer, muntjac, sheep, livestock and rabbits that can cause lasting damage to newly planted or established trees. The 1.2m high mesh is suitable for protecting trees from most grazing animals.
These galvanised mesh tree guards are supplied pre-formed to make a 300mm diameter (12″ inches) tree guard. Manufactured from 12 gauge (2.5mm wire) that is galvanised for corrosion resistance. The mesh aperture is 25mm wide x 75mm deep (1″ x 3″ inches). This rectangular mesh aperture ensures the mesh can be formed into a strong, rigid tree protection guard. Galvanised welded wire mesh tree guards are supplied in one piece and semi-rolled (pre-formed) for easy installation.
The weld mesh tree guards are split down their length to allow the wire mesh protection guard to be placed around the tree and stake. This enables the tree guard to be secured with staples or U-nails to the tree stake.
